How to clean your fan without sweating! https://amzn.to/4bcvb2X

Ever tried cleaning your fan, not fun is it? Now, being a stroke survivor group, try cleaning it with the good hand - without the frustrations. hahaha! I wish I had video taped my first attempt, it was not smooth sailing.

Summer 2014 peak of summer's heat, I sat in my wheelchair, fanned by warm air. It was disgusting. The AC was blasting in the other room but I was determined to figure out a solution to my question. How can I clean these fans? it had dust from working overtime. If you read my solution years ago, Good. If you haven't, you've probably tried a qtip (its been done), a swiffer or tried to shove a cloth in between. Nope.

I'm going to save you alot of headaches and hopefully you'll feel confident when that summer heat approaches. Always remember water goes through everything, every crack, every whatever...

I took apart the front guard, the blade, and the back guard , content? No. I am one handed, and I was not about to sweat any further.

The answer: Dishwasher. If it's good enough to clean my dishes...it will make my fans spotless!

Highly recommended to throw these three iems in your dishwasher and you will be satisfied. It blows like a new fan. https://amzn.to/4bcvb2X

Remember, there is no such thing as a silly question. If you don't ask, how will you find a solution to your question?

Thank you...
Without the help  and suggestions from my fellow stroke survivors around the World, this site would not exist.  As I celebrated my 10th year post stroke March 2024, this site was created to reach out to our fellow stroke survivors from serious topics to funny conversations.  It is here to give each other support/hints on what worked and what didnt't.  What may have worked for one stroke survivor may not work for another, but if it helped one person, It is progress.  This site is always being updated...keep in touch.
Adapting. Understanding. Empowerment.
